I contracted with DeHaan Painting to repair and remediate water stain damage to my Great Room area ceiling and walls as a result of a previous roof leak. They assisted in coordinating and maximizing the insurance claim benefit. I wanted to make upgrades to what the insurance claim would pay and I found their pricing to be fair and reasonable for the scope of work to be performed. I now have clean, smooth ceilings after the removal of the dated “popcorn” and a consistent, brighter color scheme throughout the great room after the necessary multi-coat coverup of the dated color palette inherited from the previous homeowners. I found everyone that I interacted with at DeHaan Painting — from the owner, Matt DeHaan, to the painting crew (Luis, Jaime, Andreas, & Dixon), to the office and project management staff (Chenoa and Danny) — to be responsive to my requests and questions. I could not be more pleased with the beautiful new ceiling and walls that they brought to “better-than-new” condition, and I greatly appreciate the kind and professional manner that everyone treated me and my property. DeHaan Painting is a real pro!! I look forward to working with them again on other areas in my home.
UPDATE 6/12/25:
I have worked with DeHaan Painting on two projects over the past year. My assessment is that they are the “pros that the pros call“ when they want a professional, respectful, and fairly priced painting project done. I have used DeHaan Painting for popcorn ceiling removal, Wallpaper removal, ceiling repair, wall resurfacing, and whole house interior painting. Every person that I interacted with —from the president, to the office staff, to the project manager, to each painter —worked diligently to make my tired 24 year old home into a fresh new home. They are respectful of your time and your budget and treat your home as if it was their own. These are the people to call for all your painting needs!
