We’ve been needing to stain our fence for a few years now. It is a combination of pre-existing and newer sections. Both made from different types of wood. To add to the complexity we wanted to match everything to the existing column color on the front of our home. Matt, the owner provided wonderful guidance on stain selection. He also was meticulous in finding a day with the perfect weather for the project, even going so far as to bring out a moisture meter to make sure it was dry enough to start. I tend to be the nervous one in the family, so I usually do errands or keep myself busy when we are having a home project done. But the DeHaan Painting crew worked like a beautifully built machine. They were intentional about laying out drop cloths around our yard and took attention to protect everything that didn’t need to be stained (like our hardware and the neighbors fence). But ultimately, it was the stunning finished product that brought out all the neighbors to admire, that proved what a perfect choice we made.
